Track Locator
Find Mini-Z race tracks and clubs near you. 24 active locations across 1 country.
This is the most complete publicly maintained directory of Mini-Z race tracks on the internet. Every entry has been verified against at least one primary source -- a club website, Facebook group, or RCTech thread -- within the last six months. If a track appears here, it is actively running races or open practice sessions.
Mini-Z racing has a grassroots infrastructure problem: clubs and tracks are often known only to locals, and the info that exists online is scattered across Facebook groups, RCTech threads, and club newsletters. This directory fixes that. If you are new to Mini-Z racing and looking for a place to run, start with your state in the list below. If you find a track that is missing or needs a correction, use the submit form at the bottom of this page.
The directory covers both club-run venues and hobby shops with dedicated Mini-Z track space. Surfaces are tagged as RCP (the foam tile standard used by most competitive venues), carpet, concrete, or asphalt. Indoor tracks are available year-round; outdoor locations vary by season. All tracks in the database accept the standard Mini-Z platforms -- MR-03, MA-020, MX-01 -- and most run both ready-to-race and modified classes.
Looking for organized racing clubs rather than physical track locations? The clubs directory lists Mini-Z clubs with their home track, race schedule, and contact info. Many clubs run events at tracks that appear here. Want to prepare before your first track session? The RCP Track Setup Guide covers the surface, what tire compounds to bring, and what to expect at a club night.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find a Mini-Z track near me?
Use the country list below to browse by region, then drill into your state for individual venues. Every listing includes the city, surface type, and venue type (indoor vs outdoor) so you can find the right match before making the drive.
What is RCP track and why does it matter?
RCP (Racing Circuit Products) foam tile is the standard surface for competitive Mini-Z racing worldwide. It provides higher, more consistent grip than carpet or hard floors, and Mini-Z tire compounds are designed to work specifically with it. Most serious indoor tracks use RCP. The RCP Track Setup Guide covers what you need to know before your first session.
Are these tracks open to beginners?
Yes. Every track listed here accepts newcomers. Mini-Z venues are welcoming -- the cars are small, crashes are minor, and the community understands that everyone starts somewhere. Many tracks have loaner cars or club members willing to help you get started. The MR-03 First Upgrades Under $50 guide covers what to bring to your first track session.
How often is this directory updated?
Each entry is reverified on a rolling 6-month cycle. The "Verified" date shown on each track listing reflects the last time the entry was confirmed active against a primary source. If a track closes or goes dormant between cycles, it is marked dormant or removed. Use the correct form on any listing page to flag a change.
My local track is not listed -- how do I add it?
Use the Submit a Track form. Include the venue name, address or city, surface type, and a link to the club website or Facebook group for verification. Submissions are reviewed within a few days.
